Designer's need perimeter and area because they would need the area of a floor for rugs. For an example 18 inches of floor to wall showing. 18 inches of bare floor exposed aro und the perimeter of a room is more traditional. They need all these measurements for wallpaper, paint, and rugs. Builders and carpenters also need perimeter, area and volume. While building a house every room needs to be measured exactly so the house goes up correctly. They need to build to the exact plans.

Kevin, Hunter, Josh and I created a club house named “Math clubhouse”.The room I created is made of a rectangle, two triangles and a half circle. To find the area to my room start by finding the area of each individual piece. Then add the area of each shape to find the final area of the room. To calculate the perimeter of the whole room you count the length of each outer side and add them. To calculate the total volume you need take the total area and multiply it by the height.
So the area of the room is 2,376 ft squared. The perimeter of my room is 868 ft. The total volume of my room is 35,640 ft cubed.
WHY IS THE PERIMETER, AREA AND/OR VOLUME USEFUL TO A DESIGNER AND WHO ELSE WOULD THIS INFORMATION BE USEFUL FOR?
Perimeter is useful to a designer because if the designer wanted to decorate with light, crown molding, hang light and extension cords and for the electrical wires. This could be use a contractor. Area is useful to a designer for a painter, flooring person, carpenter doing flooring.Volume is useful to a designer because if they need to put items or big items in a room they need to know volume. Volume would be useful to a postal office need to know the volume of the boxes and the trucks so they know how much can fit into the box/truck, construction worker (a paver).

Why it is so Important for a Designer to Know the Area of the whole space they are planning to have made.
A designer needs to be able to know the exact area of each part of the place that they are trying to build or plan to build so everything is even and stable. If the designer doesn't have the exact amount of space that is right for the part of the building then it most likely won't be that durable. This information would be useful for an architect and especially a constructor. They are the people who have everything to do with building and planning out the building so they know how much amounts of space is right for the parts of their project. When building, everything needs to be exact because if not then there probably be either an unbalanced floor or a tipping wall. Which is why it is so important for particularly those people to know the area down to the last centimeter.

Its Its important to know the area and perimeter for the designer so they know how much furniture can fit in it and how many people can live there. The designers can measure the furniture compared to the room and know how much space will be left over. Also they can use the perimeter for the carpet or wood floors. The designer should also know the volume so he would know how expensive the heating/AC would cost. Also if the owner wanted a basketball court he would have to know the volume.

Have you ever realized that the math you use in class is used a lot in your life and other peoples lives.You could use this type of math for many things like building a treehouse in your yard.
Also people like architects use these rules and formulas on a daily basis to design your house. After they design the house the construction worker put the architects designs into a project and create a house. Also you can use these formulas to measure the room you watch tv in so that you can fit the furniture you buy in through your door. Always remember to use the things you learn in math and apply them in the real world.

Why does a designer need to know the perimeter,area,and volume? Well for multiple reasons why a designer or others need to know the perimeter,area and volume.One of them are to know if a house will fit on a plot of land. A designer needs to know the area of a house to find out how much furniture that will fit in the house.They also need to know how many people can live inside the house together.Most importantly the designer needs to know the perimeter/area to find out how much materials (Stone,Drywall,Wood,ETC) it will take to build the house.

perimeter, and volume are useful to the designer because they need to know how
much land you will use to build the house. The area is helpful to the designer
because they need to know how much space is inside of the house. The perimeter
shows the outline of the house. The volume shows the height of the house the
inside and the outline all combined. The measurements are also useful for the people
living in the house because they need to know how much space is inside, the

We need to know the
measurements of our rooms because when we build it if it were for real life we
would need exact measurements for everything or it would fall apart. Also the
measurements are used to make sure they are up to state standards. A designer
would need the measurements to know how big you can have a chandler, if it
needs stairs, and if you’re selling it how much it would go up for if in
perfect condition. With area you can decide how much paint, wall paper, and
flooring you need to furnish a room and if you want a indoor pool you need to
know the biggest it can be without disrupting standards.

The area, perimeter and volume are not only useful to the designer, but they are also useful to the person who owns and/or lives in the house and the constructor who is building the house. The area, perimeter and volume are useful to the designer in many ways.One way why it is useful to the designer is because if the designer wants to put furniture or any other items in the house, they will know what size and how high to buy/build it. The area, perimeter and volume are useful to the person who owns and/or lives in the house because if they want a certain room to be their living room or the kitchen, they will know how big/small the room is. Then they can choose which room they want to be their living room or kitchen since they know the size of the room. One reason why the area, perimeter and volume are important and useful to the constructor who is building the house is because they will know how big to build each room and how big to build the house.
How Units of Measurements are Used by Real People
Units of measurements such as perimeter, area, and volume can be helpful to many different types of jobs. Engineers might need these units of measurements to design the blueprints of a skyscraper in the city. People who do interior work on house will need to know what the area is so they can put a certain amount of tiles down in a kitchen. The construction workers that are building a home will need to know what perimeter is to know what the length and the width of the house is going to be. Each and every day workers use these measurements to build the houses we live in today.
Knowing the perimeter, area and volume would be useful to a designer because that way they can plan where all of the objects in the room can go whether it's furniture, TV, a bed or other things. Also if they put wood flooring or carpet the measurements would be needed so the flooring is exact and fits perfectly. It will also help people figure out how much the house will cost because space is a big part of the cost of a house. The person who is moving into the house will also need the information so they can know how much they will need to pay, and so before they move in they can have an idea of how big the house is and how much room there is in it.

The reason why perimeter and area is important to designers is that when a designer is creating a blueprint they must know the perimeter and area. If they don't then the building/structure will be lopsided. people who build things should know the P and A but you should also know how to calculate the P and A too. It's important to know them and to calculate them. If a carpenter doesn't know the P and A of the area he's working in it could mean trouble.
