The volume, area and perimeter of a shape are important to a designer because they need to be able to tell buyers the amount of space they would have for their furniture or designs they want. The designer would also need to know the volume so they can give construction workers an idea on what to do. The designer needs to give the correct measurements to the construction worker so they don't mess up or buy too many supplies. The buyer needs to know so they can find what they're looking for. If someone wanted a huge closet, they would find out by looking at outlines of a house.The area of my room is 1224 sqft. The perimeter of my room is 576 sqft. The volume of my room is 7344 sqft.
